Projects in the Investment Stage

Hybrid SPP Projects: Akfen Renewable Energy has applied for solar power plant auxiliary resources in 6 licensed wind projects (Üçpınar, Hasanoba, Denizli, Kocalar, Sarıtepe, and Demirciler WPP) and 1 HEPP project (Doğançay HEPP). The total applied hybrid capacity is 94.81 MW. Our applications for capacity licenses were approved by TEİAŞ and EPDK, and our requested capacity licenses have been processed. Six hybrid projects with a total installed capacity of 90.27 MW are ready for construction.

• In February 2024, the investment process has been initiated for our hybrid SPP projects with a total capacity of 66.25 MW; Üçpınar WPP with 40.02 MW, Sarıtepe WPP with 12.97 MW, and Demirciler WPP with 13.26 MW and in April 2024 investment process for a total of 20 MW started at Denizli WPP with 6.37 MW, Kocalar WPP with 4.96 MW, Hasanoba WPP with 8.4 MW. The tender process for the turnkey construction of the projects has been completed. Construction contracts have been signed with the selected contractors, and the construction processes have been initiated.
• As of September 4, 2025, all hybrid solar power plants projects with a total installed capacity of 85.3 MW were put into operation.

WPP Capacity Extension Projects: Akfen Renewable Energy has applied for a maximum total wind capacity increase that can fit within the licensed area, totaling 92.4 MW, including Denizli WPP 25 MW, Çanakkale Üçpınar WPP 9.6 MW, Çanakkale Kocalar WPP 25 MW, Osmaniye Sarıtepe WPP 7.8 MW, and Çanakkale Hasanoba WPP 25 MW and capacity has been allocated to our projects according to our power demand programmed to meet the needs of the projects.

• All contracts (Turbine Supply, Delivery, Installation and Commissioning, 15-year Service Availability, electrical and civil works contracts) of our 5 WPP additional capacity increase projects with a total installed capacity of 102 MW, which are in the investment process, were signed in August 2024 and the construction processes were started.
• As of November 7, 2025, WPP capacity increase projects with a total installed capacity of 84.5 MW became operational.

Energy Generation Facilities with Storage: Within the framework of standalone electricity storage facility applications, our company’s total 380 MW standalone storage facility applications have been approved by EPDK. Pursuant to the right granted to storage facilities under Article 17 of the Electricity Market License Regulation, pre-license applications for a total of 285 MW capacity SPP and WPP storage-integrated generation facilities have been submitted.

In this context, a total of 285 MW of Storage + 285 MW of Generation pre-licenses have been obtained from EPDK for;

•  Çanakkale Üçpınar storage-integrated generation facility: Storage (50 MW) + Generation WPP (50 MW)
•  Erzurum storage-integrated generation facility: Storage (30 MW) + Generation SPP (30 MW)
•  Amasya storage-integrated generation facility: Storage (30 MW) + Generation WPP (30 MW)
•  Aydın storage-integrated generation facility: Storage (30 MW) + Generation WPP (30 MW)
•  Osmaniye Sarıtepe storage-integrated generation facility: Storage (95 MW) + Generation WPP (95 MW)
• Van storage-integrated generation facility: Storage (50 MW) + Generation SPP (50 MW)
