Akfen Holding Donates 10 Million TL to AFAD for Earthquake Relief Efforts in Kahramanmaraş Region
Following the earthquakes that occurred today in Kahramanmaraş, affecting many provinces, Akfen Holding announced its decision to donate 10 million TL to the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD), under the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Turkey. This contribution is aimed at supporting search and rescue operations and meeting the needs in the affected areas.
In a statement regarding the donation, Selim Akın, Vice Chairman and CEO of Akfen Holding, expressed, “Following the devastating earthquake that deeply saddened us, we decided to make a contribution to the accounts specified by AFAD to lead by example. As we have experienced in our past sorrows, we believe that by coming together in unity and solidarity as a nation, we will heal our wounds in the shortest time possible.”
